AViosk is no longer able to support the flood rater.

Hurricane Katrina and the new complexities of the product just make it too difficult. Our programmer was devastated by the floodwaters and is no longer supporting this product. Without his help we are unable to upgrade it.

When I contacted FEMA to have AViosk removed from their list of independent Flood Rater providers, I was told that I was the last to withdraw. To their knowledge, there no longer are any other independents firms offering a flood rater.

Your support in the past has truly been appreciated.

FOR THOSE INTERESTED - I am now working on creating specialty DVDs.

In June we will have available the book, The Historic Northwest Passage, of which I participated in 1957 and have authored along with other's help. I was an electrician in the Coast Guard during the '50s.

This DVD is supplemental and will offer gorgeous color Arctic photos and movies along with the story line.

I will let you know when all this is ready. If not yet a customer of AViosk, send me a note to dickjuge@aviosk.com and I'll add you to our list of people to notify.

In the plans as well, are many other DVDs with beautiful photos on such as a 'local's view of Mardi Gras and other places.
